The death occurred at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Elmer and June Pineau, 252 Duvar Road on Monday August 27, 2012, surrounded by family of Jerome (Jerry) Martin aged 78 years. Husband of the late Mary Bertha (nee Gallant) Martin.
Jerome was born in Tignish on November 9, 1933 the son of the late Orville and Imelda (nee Perry) Martin of Saint John, N.B.Lovingly remembered by his children Wayne (Doris) Martin, Hamilton, Ont., Barry (Linda) Martin, Kingston, N.S. and June (Elmer) Pineau, Duvar, PEI. Proud Papa to Jake, Jonathan, Justin and the late Curtis Martin, Scott and Marc Anthony Pineau and great grandson Jamie Martin. Dear brother to the late Leo (Theresa) Martin, Tignish, Bernadette (Victor) Cormier, Spryfield, N.S., Anita (and the late Nelson) Doucette, St. Edward, Loretta ( and the late David) Rogers, Saint John, N.B., Carol Ann Martin (Alfred), St. Gilbert, Tilmon (Patricia) Martin, Truro, N.S. and Christine (Wayne) Furlong, Rothesay, N.B. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road then forwarded to Glendale Visitation Centre, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, Ont. For visitation Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 in the Glendale Chapel.
