Norman Hayward of Kamloops, BC passed away on January 11, 2010 at the age of 88.
Left to mourn his loss are his daughters Susan Hayward and Lois (Gypsy) Warner, granddaughter Kimberly Warner, grandson Kyle (Dawn) Warner, great grandchildren Paige Peets, Cameron Peets and Kelly Warner.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Muriel of 59 years, as well as their son, Kenneth.
Norm was born on June 9, 1921 in Piney, Manitoba. Mom and Dad were married on August 30, 1947. Norm served in the Armed Forces between 1946-1971, and when he returned to Kamloops, he started working for Finning Tractor until he turned 65. Norm took up his passion of golfing three times a week at Rivershore Golf and Country Club. When Norm was not golfing he was an avid member of the Masonic Temple and the Shriners.
A Graveside Ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. on January 15, 2010 at Hillside Cemetery, 750 Notre Dame Drive.
The family would appreciate donations in Norm's memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1529 Cedar Ave., Montreal, Quebec, H3G 1A6.
