Passed peacefully away at the Fogo Island Health Centre on August 24, 2012, Eli John LeDrew of Change Islands, age 70 years. Predeceased by father Sidney, wife Triffie, daughter Pamela and brother Melvin. Left with loving memories are mother Dorcas, companion Madaline Leyte of Fogo, daughters: Angela LeDrew (Maurice Royal) of CBS, Roxanne (Jack) Hynes of Rodgers Cove; son Melvin (Lorranda) of Bonnyville, Alberta; grandchildren Kayla, Vincent, Ruby, Meghan, Lucas, Pamela, Christopher, Crystal and Jonathan; great-grandchildren Dustan and Jayson; sisters: Phyllis Reid of Change Islands, Hilda (Nelson) Hale of Twillingate, Christine (Ross) Hoffe of Change Islands, Neola (Everett) LeDrew of CBS; brothers: Garry (Isabel Hart) of Horwood, Larry (Jill Purcell) of Goulds, Sidney (Marilyn) of Change Islands, Anthony (Ellen) of Holyrood; brother-in-law Hedley (Joyce) Hart of Botwood; sister-in-law Shirley (Wallace) Rowsell of Grand Falls-Windsor; also a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Change Islands United Church. Funeral service was held on Monday, August 27, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Interment United Church Cemetery, Change Islands.
