Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Monday, January 11, 2010, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Patrick E. Woodford, age 81 years of Harbour Main. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Winnifred, sister Ada Langdon, sister-in-law Gerda Woodford. Left with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife of 58 years, Eileen (nee Whelan); his children: Paul (Sharon), Phyllis, Debbie (Stephen), Patricia (David); his loving grandchildren: Lisa (Jason), Paul Jr. (Lisa), and Jennifer (Steven); great-grandchildren: Mitchell, Morgan, Abigail and Erica; his sister Isabelle (John) Trahey; brothers: George (Mercedes), Protase (Renette) and Peter and a large circle of extended family especially Patricia Wheeler (Boyd) and his friends particularly his fraternal brothers of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop O’Neil Council and Cabot Assembly. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral will take place on Friday, January 15, 2010 with 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial from Assumption Church, Avondale. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Harbour Main.
