The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, September 1, 2012, of Mr. William Damien “Billy” Affleck of Mt. Stewart, age 62 years.
Beloved son of Gen Affleck and the late Wilfred Affleck. Loving and devoted brother to Clifford (Velma), Shirley (Brian) MacDonald, Kay, Allan (Annette), Brenda Weatherbie and Barb (Ivan) Feehan. Brother-in-law to Elizabeth Affleck. Ever loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Percy Affleck.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 1:20 on Thursday afternoon, then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mt. Stewart, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Family flowers only. All others gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Billy may be made to St. Andrew’s Cemetery Fund.
