It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leonard Kelly announce his passing on Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 57 years, Frances (nee Bennett); son, Leonard Jr. (Kitty); daughters: Linda Caines, Ida Pye, Beverley (Dean) and Marilyn; nine grandchildren: special grandson, Glenn Pye; Stephen Myles, Michelle Myles (Frank), Andrew Caines (Stephanie), Artie Caines, Danielle White (Kevin), Tara White (Jay), Sheldon and Shane Keefe; one great- grandchild, Daniel; brothers and sisters: Ida (John) Plakiotis, Bill (Joan), Joan Trahey, Gary (Lozanne), Cora (Bill) Quinton, Ted (Mary), Nancy (Gerry) and Kevin (Florence); sisters-in-law: Bet Kelly, Marilyn (Paul) Gaudet and Elizabeth Bennett; brothers-in-law: Clar (Bella) Bennett, Tom (Marie) Bennett, Ron (Sylvia) Bennett, Ern (Ivy) Bennett and Eric Young; special friend, Cyril Dawe; special friend and cousin, Frank Mosher; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and James Kelly; brother, Michael; son-in-law, Arthur Caines; mother and father-in-law Helen & John Bennett; brothers-in-law: William Trahey and Shawn Bennett; sister-in-law, Marie Young. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street. Reverend Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the 5th Floor (Mowbray Place), Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
