Henry Andrew "Bulldog" Arsenault

Arsenault, Henry Andrew “Bulldog” – 81, of Green Oaks, Colchester County, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, surrounded by his family. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, he was a son of the late Joseph Andrew and Theresa Bridget (Brown) Arsenault. Henry worked for several years at the LaFarge Canada Inc. in Brookfield for 27-years. He was an avid hunter and had a great interest in guns. He loved fishing, going to Shortt’s Lake, and also to the food court at the mall to have coffee with his buddies. He had a great love for cats and will be missed by his cats Crissy and Cricket. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his wife Viola Mae (Stillman) Arsenault of 52 years; son James Edward of Halifax; daughter Theresa Mae Langille (John) of Hilden; granddaughter Sarah Langille of Calgary; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son William Andrew in infancy; brother George; sisters Irene and Marion; step-father Byard Ogilvie.
There will be no visitation by Henry’s request. A graveside service will take place on Monday, Sept. 10th at 10 am in the Robie Street Cemetery, Truro with Rev. Lori Ramsey officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Donations in Henry’s memory may be made to the S.P.C.A. Truro or to a charity of choice.
