The death occurred at the Prince Edward Home on Monday, March 24, 2008, of Bernardine Bell, of Charlottetown, age 88 years. Wife of the late George E. Bell, and Ralph E. Chandler. Mother of Vera Joy (predeceased), Brian (Marilyn) Chandler and Jim (Jean) Chandler. Grandmother of Michael and Charles Chandler, Walter (Joan) Joy, Patricia (Malcolm) Whelan, Eugene (Connie) Joy, and Patrick Jr. (Darlene) Joy. Great-grandmother of six great-grandchildren. Sister of Genevieve March, Sheila Garrett, Pauline Kennedy, Geraldine Khun, Alban Murphy, Tom Murphy and Mary Furstenburg (predeceased).
