Lloyd R. Colburn, 150 Crescent St., Sydney Mines, passed away at home on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010.
Born in Sydney Mines, he was the son of the late Carl and Pearl (Sommers) Colburn. He was a member of Carman United Church, Sydney Mines.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta; sons, Derrick and Timothy, Halifax; his grandchildren, Holly, Clair and Kent and his sister, Marjorie Brown.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. A graveside service will take place Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery, Sydney Mines, with Rev. Nick Phillips officiating.
