Healey, Ronald Gregory — It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Gregory Healey announce his passing at the CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor on January 1, 2010 at the age of 72. He was a former Recreation Director with the town of Bishop's Falls and was also the Chair of Senior Hockey in Newfoundland and Labrador. He is pre-deceased by his parents Stephen and Marie Healey and his brother Jim. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Jeanette, sons Greg and Paul of Bishop's Falls, daughters Allison (Jim Power) and Karen (Wayne Langille) both residing in Paradise, NL and daughter-in-law Kelly Healey. Also leaving to mourn are Poppy's treasures his grandchildren Jessica and Liam Healey and Brianna and Matthew Power, his brothers Kevin, Art, Leo, sister Marie McKenna and sister-in-law Yvonne Healey as well as a large number of relatives and friends. Father Kevin Barker conducted the funeral at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Grand Falls-Windsor on January 5, 2010. Cremation and burial took place on January 6, 2010. Pallbearers were Greg Healey, Paul Healey, Kevin Healey, Jim Power, Wayne Langille and Lester Payne. Arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
