Lorraine Denise Duchesneau beloved wife of Paul Duchesneau of Quispamsis, N.B., passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital in Saint John, N.B., surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010.
Born 1959 in Sydney to Serella (Peters) Bagnell of Sydney and the late Weldon Bagnell. Lorraine graduated from St. FX in 1981 and worked for the Province of New Brunswick for over 15 years. She enjoyed travelling, gardening and adored animals especially her cats Ceasar and Cleo. Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Besides her loving husband, Paul and mother, Serella, she is survived by her only daughter, Melissa Bagnell (Brian MacDonald); one brother, Weldon (Laurie); grandson, Brandon MacDonald; niece, Amy; nephew, Adam, all of Sydney; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, N.B., 506-646-2424 with visitation Monday, Jan. 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Celebration of life will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
