It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo Kennedy announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday January 16, 2010 at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 63 years Annie Kennedy, sons; Robert (Elsie), Allen (Annette), Gerald, Terry (Cindy), and Alex, daughters; Shirley, Mary (Danny), Irene (Rich), Barbara (Charlie), and Ina, 21 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Frances (Bill) Vanheldigtor of Niagra Falls ON, Agnes (Ray) Lavers of Corner Brook, Madonna (Leo) of Corner Brook, Patsy (Joe) Priviters of Scarborough ON, Betty (Roy) Quigley of Port Hope North ON, Chris (Marg) Kennedy of Niagra Falls, ON, Andy Kennedy of Corner Brook, Corina (Vern) Rideout of NS as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Mose and Lucy Kennedy, brothers; Jack (Evelyn), Bud (Ina), Patrick, sisters; Mildred (Joe), and Nora Quilty, sons-in-law; Mike Spontaneo and Tony Bennett. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Monday January 18, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday January 19, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Jim Robinson officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment will take place at a later date.
