CRAFT, CATHERINE MARGARET - Catherine Margaret Craft, wife of the late William Walter Craft, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Embassy Hall, Shannex, Quispamsis, with her family by her side. Born 1925 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Hugh Francis and Edna Kathleen (Pierce) Steele. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her infant son William W. Craft and son Kenneth Donald Craft; sons-in-law Ron Gallant and Mike Hosford; daughter-in-law Debbie Craft; infant grandson and infant great grandson; and five brothers Frank, Bill, Jack, Joseph and Richard. She will be sadly missed by her children David (Bonita) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Elizabeth Ann Delaney (Dave) of Quispamsis, Douglas (Barbara) of Saint John, Harriett Savoie (Roger) of Passekeag, Patricia Gallant of Riverview, John (Melodie) of Rothesay, George (Barb) of Quispamsis, Gary (Natalie) of Quebec, Catherine Hosford (Kevin Phippen) of Norton, Mary Jane Patterson (Richard) of Barnesville, Peter (Jackie) of Saint John and Clarke (Kim) of Hartland; and daughter-in-law Vinnie Craft of Saint John; brothers Leslie Steele of Hillsborough, Arthur Steele (Madeline) of Saint John, Michael Mills (Mary Jane) of Pennfield and Brian Naves of Saint John; sisters Rita Swift of Hampton, Elizabeth Knox of Sussex, Lynn Bourgenis (Rod) of Bouctouche, Sue Gallant of Saint John and Donna Ward ( Larry) of Saint John; sister-in-law Mary Steele of Grand Bay-Westfield; 28 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. We would like recognize our extended family of Embassy Hall, Second Floor for their most warm thoughtful care that they showed to Mom.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Donations made to the Embassy Hall, Recreation Department, Shannex or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
