It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Cavelle Bernadette O’Neill (nee Brufatto) on January 15, 2010, aged 41 years. Cavelle was born in Dominion, Cape Breton. Cavelle passed away at home in the Goulds. She is survived by her loving husband Brian, her beautiful son Kieran and also her compassionate mother and caregiver Anna Marie Brufatto. She is also survived by her sister Megan of Cape Breton and brother Mark of Alberta, mother-in-law Angela O’Neill of Goulds, sister-in-law Lisa Williams of Maddox Cove, brother-in-law John Williams of Maddox Cove as well as numerous friends. She is predeceased by her father Sheldon. Cavelle was a dedicated chartered accountant with Grant Thornton for much of her career. Cavelle had been battling cancer for 5 years and her courage and strength were an amazement to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. And Monday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 at 10 a.m. From St. Kevin’s church, Goulds.
