GEMMELL, DOUG - 1948 - 2012 - Doug Gemmell passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, following a brief battle with cancer. Born in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, he was the son of the late William and June (Probert) Gemmell. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces for over 20 years, following which he worked at Warren Transport in Rexton, NB. Doug was a great fan of all things hockey and enjoyed cheering on his favorite team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his daughters; Theressa Gemmell (Davie) of Halifax, Danielle Gemmell (Adrian Weir) of Riverview, Andrea Gemmell of Moncton, son; Tom (Tina) of Moncton, grandchildren; Ashley, Douglas, Samantha, Claire, Bailee, Wyatt, Mitchell, Justin, Brody, Isabella and David, brothers; Paul and Stewart both of Vancouver, as well as, his beloved aunt Hellen Francis of Alliston, Ontario.
