Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, of Roger William Waddell, of Charlottetown, in his 77th year. Son of the late Clarence and Helen (Darrach) Waddell. He leaves to mourn his wife Maisie (McMahon); son, Peter (Clare); daughter, Tanya Sheridan (Aidan) and sister, Joan DesRoches (Fred); grandchildren, Laura, Maggie, Charles and Ian Waddell, Jevan Walker, Colin and Katie Sheridan; cousins, Ethel (Bud) MacKenzie and Janice Boyko, and special cousin, Marjorie Irving. Roger was predeceased by his son, Shawn; brother, Allison and sister, Shirley. Resting at the Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford. By family request, there will be no visitation and a private funeral service. Family graveside service will be held at a later date at the People's Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or P.E.I. Lung Association would be appreciated.
