CURRIER, DALE FRANK - The death of Dale F. Currier, of Geary, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late Neil and Margaret (Prince) Currier and husband of J. Diane (Carr) Currier. Dale was well known for his love of the outdoors. Given an opportunity he was often found hunting, fishing or trapping. He also had a wonderful talent for wood working and enjoyed helping out others when he could. Spending time with family and friends was Dale's greatest joy and he will be sadly missed by his wife, Diane; chosen son, Robert Lint of Fredericton, NB; brother Graham Currier; sister, Amy Tapp (Abram); brothers-in-law, Norman Carr (Lorraine) and Douglas Carr (Wilma); sisters-in-law, Linda Harnish and Lorrie Beauchamp (Bruce); several nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew. He also leaves behind his "furry" pals, the dogs, Spirit and Shorty and the cat, Tazer as well as many, many close friends. Dale was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Eric Currier. The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Units in Oromocto and Fredericton, extra mural staff and Wayne Fraser for his invaluable help.
A graveside service will take place in the Morrow Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Dale's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
