November 24, 1920 - September 18, 2012. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lily May Mayo of Burin, NL announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the age of 91. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons: Gordon (Beulah) of Burin Bay Arm, Robert (Doris) of St. John's; sister Joan Periera (Harry) of Burin; brother Edwin Dicks (Alice) of St. John's; three grandchildren: Tanya (Bob Grant), Trudy (Bobby Spurrell) and Trina (Wayne Leaman); four great-grandchildren: Michael, Jessica, Joseph and Charlotte; plus a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by husband Abram, daughter Carol May, brother Cecil Dicks, parents Jim and Jessie Dicks. Resting and visitation to take place from Wiseman's Funeral Homes in Salt Pond on Thursday, September 20th from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., and Friday, September 21st from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the United Church in Collin's Cove on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery in Collin's Cove.
