SIMON, GLADYS MARIE - 1963-2012 - ELSIPOGTOG, NB- Gladys Marie Simon, of Elsipogtog who was missing for 8 years, was found September 9, 2012. Born in Rexton, NB she was the daughter of the late Abraham Simon and Leona Augustine. Gladys was employed as a security officer, she was also a toy maker and was a member of the Army Cadets. She was a devoted catholic and attended St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Elsipogtog. She will be sadly missed by her five sisters; Vina Augustine (Eddie) of Mississauga, ON, Anita Peter Paul (Norman) of Elsipogtog, Pearlene Baker (Frank) of Elsipogtog, Loris Simon-Dupuis (Danny) of Moncton, Andrea Colfer (Brett) of Elsipogtog one brother; John Abraham Simon (Ida) of Shubenacadie, NS also many nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by two brothers; Herman Abraham Simon and Jeoffrey Josph Simon.
Resting at the home of her sister at 5 Echo Drive, Elsipogtog beginning on Saturday, September 22, at 2:00 pm until time of funeral on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 10:30 am, St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
