Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, September 20, 2012, Allan T. Moores of Burnt Point, age 69 years. Predeceased by parents Wesley and Hazel (Thistle) Moores, brother Boyd and brother-in-law Albert Milley. Leaving to mourn with great sadness and loving memories is his wife of 44 years, Mary; two daughters: Darlene Howell, Port Union and Norma (Clyde) Long, Eastern Passage, NS; two sons: Scott (Jennifer), Innisfil, ON and Rodney (Darlene), Whitbourne; five precious grandchildren: Colton, Austin, Cooper, Brittany and Sharra; three sisters: Daphne (Cyril) Murphy and Inez Milley, both of Burnt Point and Thelma (Robert) Snelgrove, Lower Island Cove; sister-in-law: Marilyn Moores, Toronto, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point.
