SAMPSON, DOUGLAS GERALD - Douglas Sampson Sr. of Hampton, husband of Helen (Tabor) Sampson, passed away September 20, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint John, son of the late Harry and Geraldine (Dibblee) Sampson. He is survived by his wife Helen, son Douglas Jr. (Stacy) of Hampton, two precious grandsons, Alexander and Carter; sister, Alice Cassidy of Boston; uncle Harold Dibblee of Fredericton; three nephews, Jim, Kenny and Dwight; special friends, George and Lu London and family; and special cousin, Nancy (Wayne) Doucette.
Resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. The funeral will be held 2:00pm, Monday, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Hampton. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Reception will follow at St. Paul’s Church.
