PHILLIPS, NORMAN “ARCHIE” A. - 1921-2012 -
Archie Phillips of Riverview passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the age of 91. Born in Rusagonis, NB., he was the son of the late Norman and Laura Phillips (Greer). Archie retired from Honeywell in 1985 after more than 30 years of service as a professional electrical engineer, he was a member of the Canadian Gideon Bible Society, and served as a chaplain for Transport for Christ. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Hazel (Duplessis), daughters, Susan and Heather Phillips (Nick Paulick); son, Jonathan Phillips; sisters: Norma Phillips (Fred), Marilla Fletcher, Carolyn Goss (Jim); brother, Darrell Phillips (Mary), grandchildren: Andrew, Abigail, Adam, Charity, Rebecca, Christopher; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB., (506-869-2007) on Monday, September 24 from 2-4 pm.
