THIBODEAU, JAMES DOUGLAS - With sadness the family announces the passing of James Douglas Thibodeau, who passed away on September 23, 2012 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born 1928 in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late Helen (Smith) and Dennis Thibodeau. Jimmy worked for the Irving Refinery as an Electrical Foreman for 25 years. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 58 years Virginia (Larocque) Thibodeau; sisters-in-law Clara Hyde and Bertha Bouchard, brother-in-law Joseph Larocque, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Richard and David Thibodeau; sisters Edna Giasson, Natalie McJanet, and Helen Paul.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joachim’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 12:00. A private interment will be held at a later date.
