It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of a beautiful, thoughtful and generous mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, on September 23, 2012, after a brief illness. Leaving to mourn her children: Rita (Bob, deceased), Alice (Gerry, deceased), Joe (Rhonda), and Roxanne (Marshall); grandchildren: Nikki, Jason (spouse), Jeremy (spouse), and Justin; great-grandchildren: Zach, Owen, Eric, Caleb, Isabella and Martaya; as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 12 pm - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25th. Cremation to follow the visitation. Funeral Service to take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
