Passed peacefully away on Monday, September 24th, 2012 at the Dr. Walter Templeman Health Care Center, Bell Island. George Lahey, aged 67 years. Predeceased by his mother Catherine, father Philip, brothers Donald and John and sister Brigit. Left with fond and loving memories his three brothers: James (Dianne), Philip, Gerald (Jenny); five sisters: Alice (Mike), Catherine, Nancy, Veronica (Louis) and Molly (Clayton), as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. George will be resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass to take place on Thursday, September 27th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Church, Bell Island with inurnment to follow. Flowers graciously accepted or donations to a charity of one’s choice.
