Passed peacefully away at his home in the presence of his family, Edward J. Bragg Sr., aged 83 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 63 years, Joan (nee Williams); seven daughters: Janet (Jerry) Lacey, Sharon Ann (Frank) McCrate, Debbie (Dennis) Boland, Edwina Walsh, Jackie (Jack) Jardine, Carrie (Paul) Gosse, Joanie (Michael) Abbass; three sons: Eddie (Beverly), Gerry (Sheila) and Paul; sister Floss Herter of The United States; sisters-in-law Agnes Bragg and Sharon Wayne (Calvin Johnson); brother-in-law Gerald (Edwina) Williams; 23 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, too numerous to mention. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Andrew Hutton and Valerie Maher BN, RN for their extraordinary kindness during this time. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd, on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 1st, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Rd. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
