ROBICHAUD, BERTHA (GALLANT) - (1926 - 2012) - RICHIBUCTO, NB - Bertha Robichaud 86, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Born in Aldouane, she was the daughter of the late Livain Gallant and late Suzanne Daigle. Before retiring, Bertha had been employed for Canada Post, Richibucto for over 35 years. She attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Bertha will be sadly missed by her four children; Simonne (Wayne Hebert) of Jardineville, Georges (Clairina) of Richibucto, Suzie (Jean-Guy Gaudet) of Aldouane, Yvon (Lisa) of Richibucto and six grandchildren; Serge, Denis, Chantal, Joel, Renée, Rémi and five great grandchildren; Anika, Chloé, Pascal, Kate and Hunter. Bertha is also survived by three sisters; Simonne Gallant of Aldouane, Edith Robichaud (late Emile) of Richibucto, Emerise Richard (late Albert) of Saint John and several nieces and nephews. Bertha was predeceased by both her parents, her husband; Elide Robichaud (1998), two sisters; Jeanne Vautour, Antoinette Cormier and one brother; Ovila Gallant.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Wednesday at 12:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Bertha’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and would be appreciated by the family.
