Colin George Hale passed away, peacefully, surrounded by his loving children and dear friend, on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the age of 67.
United now in Heaven with his beloved wife Sarah (December 28, 2011).
Cherished father of Stephen Hale (Hilary) and Krystal Hale. Proud papa of Alexis and Jackson. Dear brother of Pat Chaisson, Charles Hale (Nancy), and Claudia Hale (Roger). Also survived by his step-mother-in-law Paulette Hersey and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Doris and Hughie Hale, brother Father Hugh Hale and mother and father-in-law Mildred Grant and Jack Hersey.
Colin was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia and later moved to Welland where he was employed with Gen Corp for several years, retiring as a technician.
Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, October 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 8 p.m. Father Hugh Gibson will conduct the funeral service at the Parish Community of St. Kevin, 303 Niagara Street, Welland on Wednesday, October 3rd at 12 noon followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Colin’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Yellamanchilli, Dr. Sayed and the staff from the I.C.U. at the St. Catharines General Hospital and to Father Hugh Gibson for his spiritual guidance.
