James 'Jimmie' Cooper

Jimmie passed away peacefully on Sept. 26, 2012, at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alt., after a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer.
Jimmie was the son of Doris and the late Edwin Cooper of Whitney Pier, Sydney.
Jimmie is survived by his two children, James (Tasha) and Nicole (Kelly); his wife, Beth Moxley and two stepchildren, Robyn and Leah (Devon). He is also survived by his mother, Doris and siblings, Fern (Ron), Brenda (Byron), Gary (Donna), Heather (Adrian), Mary Lynn (Paul) and Leah (Danny). Also by many nieces and nephews and their families.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church, Matilda Street, Whitney Pier.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trinity United Church or charity of your choice in Jimmie’s memory.
