It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Bill Dinning on February 18, 2010. His beloved wife Patricia (Wright) and adored granddaughter Meghann were at his side. Survived and deeply loved by his cherished children: Mary (Norm Delves) of Sutton, Qc, Will (Karen Flemmer) of Black Diamond, AB, Kelly (Tom Walls) of Turner Valley, AB and his granddaughter Meghann Delves of Sutton, Qc. Very special Grampa Billy to his great-grandchildren: William Dinning Delves and Eve Dinning Delves. Private family prayers were held on Friday February 19, 2010 in Sutton, Qc. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date in Maple Grove, Qc. Bill was born on August 11, 1928 in Maple Grove, Qc, the only child of the late Jasper William Dinning and Elizabeth Rhoda (Nugent). Bill was a cattle dealer, a beef cattle farmer and dairy cattle farmer, but his love of horses was his passion. After his retirement, Bill and Patsy moved to Alberta, where he was a teamster at Heritage Park, AB, for ten years. Bill and Patsy returned to the Townships in February 2007. Along the road to yesterday that leads me straight to you, are memories of the happy days together we once knew. And always every evening, I seem to have a way of wandering back to meet you on the road to yesterday.
