At Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, of P. Tom Gallant of Charlottetown, formerly of Kelly Road, age 66. Born in Alberton Dec. 3, 1945, he was the son of Archie and Elizabeth Gallant. Tom is survived by his brother Eugene (Darlene), Kelly Road and nieces Deidre and Tanya. He is also survived by his caregivers Arlene and Neil Proude and past caregivers Helena and Kenneth MacDonald. Predeceased by his parents (father in 1978 and mother in 2002), brother Kenny (2001) and sister Eileen in infancy. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock. Interment to follow in the parish Cemetery. In memory of Tom, memorials to Canadian Mental Health Association, West Prince, would be appreciated.
