PAUL, ERIC CHRISTOPHER: (Feb 1, 1953 – Oct 3, 2012) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Christopher Paul (Popcorn) on October 3, 2012 at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, NS. He was born Feb 1, 1953 in Fredericton NB. He was a member of St. Mary's First Nation and he was the son of Elizabeth Brewer and the late Eugene Paul.
Eric is survived by his long-time partner Irene Mabee; daughters Lisa and Laura; brothers Tim (Shari), William (Katie), and Rocky all of Fredericton; sisters Victoria Day (John) of Pennsylvania, Janice Rouse (Bill) of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews and his special family the Mabee's: four sons Lenny, Jason, Billy and Jesse, two daughters Tracy and Susan; three grandsons Troy, Tyler and Isaiah; four granddaughters Tasha, Katie, Jamee and Miracle and a very special great-grandson “his pumpkin” Harlan. He is predeceased by his step-father Donald, brother Phillip, sisters Beverly and Eunice. Eric served time in the USA Marines. He loved to read, watch movies and pick fiddleheads.
Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton with viewing on Sunday, October 7 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Monte Peters as celebrant.
