CONRAD; Marjorie Alice , 85, of West Berlin, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Sunday, October 7th, 2012. Born in West Berlin, she was a daughter of the late Maynard and Mary Alice (Coade) Colp. Her life centered around her family and her church. She was an active member in St. John’s Anglican Church and was loved by her grandchildren especially for her molasses cookies and doughnuts. She enjoyed watching birds and was a great Bluejays fan. She will be remembered for her great sense of humour. She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Robert) Lohnes of West Berlin; her son Michael (Marian) of Halifax; Her grandchildren Robert “Bobby” Lohnes, Kim Lohnes, Brian (Kerri) Conrad, Michael (Aimee) Conrad, Jaime Conrad-Howie (George Howie), Marcia (Page) Egan and Matthew (Charlene) Conrad. Great grandchildren Mairi Conrad, Isaac Whynot, Ethan Egan, Abbey Egan, Trystin Conrad, Bryce Conrad, Loran Conrad, Owen Conrad, Andrew Conrad and her daughter-in-law Ann Marie Conrad; Her sisters Phyllis Leslie of Ontario and Geraldine (Byron) Whynot of Brooklyn; Her brothers James (Barbara) of Halifax and Palmer (Helen) of Port Medway. She was predeceased by her husband Jordan, son David, grandson Anthony Conrad and her daughter-in-law Sheila. Visitation was Thursday, October 11th in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Funeral service was Friday, October 12 in St. John’s Anglican Church, Eagle Head with Chaplain Donald Lawton officiating. Burial was in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, West Berlin.
