LEBLANC, GERALD JOSEPH - Gerald Joseph LeBlanc, loving husband of Jeannette LeBlanc passed away peacefully on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1934 in St. Marie de Kent, NB he was the son of the late Neri and Amanda (Cormier) LeBlanc. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Aline and Sara and brother Norman. Gerald worked as a welder for the Saint John Dry Dock for 36 years. He enjoyed his camp and garden back home with his brothers and sisters. He also enjoyed horse racing and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jeannette (Girouard) of 49 years, son Gilles LeBlanc (Karen) of Ottawa, daughter Linda McMurray (Joe) of Saint John; cherished grandchildren Evan, Mya and Marcus; brothers and sisters Richard (Bernadette), Rosaline (Albert), Juliette (Harold), Imelda (Eddy), Eugenie (Angus), Walter, Donald (Claudette), Clarence (Florence), Geraldine (John) and Fernande (Arthur); many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday, October 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann's Catholic Church on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
