MICHAEL MOORE
April 16, 1934 – October 6, 2012
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Moore announces his passing on Saturday October 6, at his residence in Codroy at the age of 78 years. Born at Codroy, Michael was the son of the late Alex and Gertrude (Locke) Moore. He was also predeceased by his brothers David (Dot) Moore, Thomas Moore (Violet Pippy), Leonard Anderson, sisters Winnie Harrison, Louise Maginnis, Gertrude Johnson. He leaves to mourn with precious memories his loving family wife Mary of 36 years, sons Bradley (Amy), Brandon (Raylene), grandchildren Jared, Veronica, Corrine, Brooklyn, Breanna, brothers Frank (Noreen) Moore, Elias Anderson (Helen), Ronald Anderson, sisters Margaret (Gus) O’Regan, Marie (Geoffrey) Coles, brothers-in-law Peter Anderson (Mary), Pius Anderson (Joyce), Dion Anderson (Doreen), sisters-in-law Suzanne (Randy) Hilliard, Joanne Anderson (Don) and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Sunday and Monday at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Upper Ferry. The funeral mass took place on Tuesday October 9, 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, officiated by Father Edward Terry. To honor Michael’s wishes cremation followed with interment to take place at a later date.
