WOODWARD, STANLEY - Stanley Joseph Woodward, 70, of Havelock, passed away at home Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Joseph H. and Emma (Sherwood) Woodward. Stanley was a truck driver-broker for various companies throughout the years. He attended the Havelock Wesleyan church and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Havelock Branch #86. Stanley enjoyed driving his motorcycle with friends. He is survived and missed by his common-law spouse Carol Killam; daughters Pauline Budd (Harold) of Moncton and Kelli Bell (John Gross) of Ottawa, ON; sons Kenny of Havelock and Jeffrey (Tambrie) of Mt. Hebron, NB; step children Jackie Kelly (Steven) of Moncton, Maxine Rice (Dwayne) of Petitcodiac and Ben Killam (Karolyn) of Halifax NS; brother Wayne (Wanda) of Kingston Peninsula; Uncle Peter Callen of ON; grandchildren Joey Hannington, Megan Hannington, Dylan Bell, Riley Bell, Courtney Rice and Katelyn Rice and his canine companion Suzie. Predeceased by first wife Georgina (1994) and infant brother George.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting is Friday, October 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Legion Memorial Service at 6:45 p.m. The funeral will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, October 13 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Nick Graham officiating. Interment at Havelock Wesleyan Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Havelock Legion.
