Dorothy Viola (Bond) Taylor - 84, of Lakeville, Kings County, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Coldbrook, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Lottie (Balsor) Misner. She was an adherent of the Woodville Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Pastor Christina (Pastor Tim) Bigelow, Woodville; Valerie Ward (companion, Mike Trask), Kentville; Teresa (John) Janes, Morden; three sons, Richard Jr. (Gloria), Woodville; Cecil (Pauline), Lakeville; Jerry (Stella), Brooklyn Street; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Bond; her second husband, Stewart Taylor; an infant son, Percy; a great grandson, Noah Bigelow; two sisters, Lena and Lillian; a brother, Carl. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, Pastor Tim Bigelow officiating. Burial took place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Woodville Baptist Church.
