It is with great sadness that the family of Hector Leonard announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his devoted wife Madonna; three daughters: Lori Young, Bonnie Leonard, Corner Brook, Vicki Gilbert (Brent), BC; step-children: Bill Bryden, Grand Falls, Kevin Bryden (Delta), NS, Tawnya Crerar (Michael), AB; six much loved grandchildren: Stephen Young (Jonathan Mills), AB, Megan Young (Chris O’Connell), AB, Tyler and Bailey Gilbert, BC, Kevin Bryden, Grand Falls (and his mother Kim Noseworthy), Abbey Bryden, NS; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Young, AB, Jaxon O’Connell, AB; sister Blanche Courts (Tom), Florida; sister-in-law Anderine Gillard (David), Corner Brook; brother-in-law Jim Peach (Sheila), NS. Predeceased by first wife Anne Pelley, infant son Mark, parents Fred and Elizabeth, mother and father-in-law Alma and Harold Peach. As per Hector’s request cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date. We would like to thank the nurses on 3A, the Dialysis Unit and Dr.s Murphy, Fudge and Dunn. A very special thank you to Dr. VanWijk for the years of care and compassion he showed our family. We will be forever thankful. Memorials in Hector’s name may be made to W.M.R.H. Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
