BOYLE, CHARLENE CLAIRE - It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Charlene Claire Boyle of Saint John who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 14, 2012. Born April of 1947 to the late Charles and Sadie (Hill) Ball. In earlier years Charlene worked for Irving Oil in office administration. Later her career took her to the “Everything for a Dollar” where she was the manager for over 12 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed Bingo at Haymarket Square, breeding siamese cats and spending time with family and friends. Charlene is survived by her only daughter Charlene Louise Boyle of Saint John and precious grandson Seth Boyle; many friends and feline companion “Baby Kitty”. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Lawrence Sabean and former husband Paul Boyle.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424. By her request there will be no visitation, a private graveside will be held at Ocean View Memorial Garden at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Charlene’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
