The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family, at his late residence, on Sunday, April 13, 2008, of Raymond Joseph Kelly of Kinkora, age 85 years. Raymond was born on June 20, 1922, in Kinkora, P.E.I., to his late parents, Ambrose and Lauretta (nee Smith) Kelly. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Campbell) Kelly and loving father of Brendan (Diana) of New Haven; Linda (Sandy) McClumpha of Bay Fortune; Kevin (Lynn) of Kinkora; Marina Kelly-Smith of Airdrie, Alta., and Carmen (Mary) of Edmonton, Alta. Also lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren Deidre, Patrick, Allison, Katelyn, Conor and Emma Kelly, Nicholas, Shawn and Kelly McClumpha, Mary Ann, Robyn and Aaron Smith. Survived by the following brothers and sisters-in-law; Blanche Strain of Emyvale, Marie (Frank) McAulay of Charlottetown, Francis Campbell of Charlottetown and Brendan (Ruth) Campbell of North Wiltshire. Besides his parents, Raymond was predeceased by his infant daughter, Mary Ann; his brother, Alfred (Alice) Kelly and his sister, Doris (Gerald) Monaghan. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Thursday, April 17, 2008, then to St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations in Raymond’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
