GAUTREAU, ROBERT “BOB” - Robert “Bob” Gautreau, 68, of Moncton, passed away after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on December 23, 1943 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Edouard and Augustine “Jessie” (Melanson) Gautreau. He is survived by his wife, Ann (Doucette); three children: Suzanne “Sue” Giroux (Pierre) of Bathurst, David of Moncton and Donald “Don” (Heather) of St. John’s, NL; two brothers: Léonard “Len” (Carol) of Riverview and Roland (Rose) of Moncton; three grandchildren: Alexander, Nicholas and Larissa as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated Friday, October 19, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In memory of Bob, in lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation (Palliative or Oncology) would be appreciated. www.frenettefuneralhome.com
