It is with great sadness that the family of the late JOHN R. BONNELL of Marystown, NL, announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the age of 84. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Kathleen of 57 years; Sons Gerard (Rose) of Marystown, Clyde (Katie) of Marystown, Tom (Beverley) of Marystown, and Gerald (Kimberly) of Winterland; Daughters Theresa Walsh of Dartmouth, NS, Elizabeth Hodder (George) of Marystown, Loretta Miller (James) of Marystown, Carmelita Walters of Marystown, Mary Bonnell Warren (Randy) of Brooks, AB, and Lisa Badcock (Sean) of Greenwood, NS; 26 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents Robert & Elizabeth Bonnell; Brothers Benjamin, Ernest & James Bonnell; and Son-in-law Michael Walsh.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Cremation followed. In John’s memory donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation. No flowers by request of the family.
