SOUCY, DANIEL PAUL - With heavy hearts the family of Dan Soucy announces his passing on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Born in Saint John, NB., he is the son of Conrad and Hermine (Blanchard) Soucy. Dan was a proud, third generation Iron Worker by trade, belonging to Union Local #842 and worked for nearly 30 years in his profession. He had a passion for fly fishing, spending his earlier days on the Salmon River and he loved four wheeling. He was loved dearly by his family and will be forever missed. Along with his parents, Dan is survived by his special friend Bonnie Culley; brothers Gary (Cherie) Soucy, and Steve Soucy; sister Rose Soucy (Dave Hayes); best friend Randy Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to several grandparents, he was also predeceased by his brother Mike Soucy and nephew Clayton Soucy.
Arrangements entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB., (646-2424). Following cremation, visiting will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2012, two hours prior to the service from 1 to 3 pm with the Funeral to immediately follow at 3 o’clock.
