Fraser, Joyce Kathleen, 84 of the Valley View Villa, Riverton formerly of Whitehill, Pictou County passed away October 21, 2012 in the villa.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Russell and Jessie(Langille)Stewart.
Joyce was a resident of the villa for the past 20 years. She was a former employee of the Braeside Inn, Pictou and the former Metropolitan and Goodman Stores in New Glasgow. She was an adherent of the Christ Anglican Church in Stellarton. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and especially dancing.
She is survived by a daughter Sheryl(Tom)Hillier, Linacy; sons, Douglas, New Glasgow; Russell(Yvette), New Brunswick; grandchildren, Tom Hillier, David Hillier, Freddie MacKay, Jason MacKay, Nick Fraser, Josh Fraser, Colin Fraser, Christopher Fraser, Dylan Fraser Chris Peebles, Melissa, Litocha Hillier, Shayla Fraser and Josie Fraser, a sister Bertie Ollerton, New Glasgow; a brother Vic Stewart, Ottawa.
She was predeceased by a son Vernon, a grandson Derek, 2 sisters and a brother.
Her remains will rest in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow for visiting from 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday from where funeral services will be held 11am Thursday with Rev. Aidan Kingsbury presiding. Burial will take place in the Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow.
