Lillian Marie Eveline Prince

Lillian Prince of Charlottetown, in her 88th year, passed away peacefully at Whisperwood Villa on Thursday, April 17, 2008. She is predeceased by her husband, Fernand and by her sister, Francoise Hebert. She was the loving mother of Helen Cottreau (Tom), Charlottetown; Madeleine Trenouth, Fredericton, N.B.; John (Dolores), Edmunston, N.B.; Robert (Cindy Nickerson), Yarmouth, N.S. and mother-in-law of Monty Trenouth, Fredericton, N.B. Loved by her grandchildren, Michelle Cottreau (Bill Whelan), Suzanne Manovill (Phil), Tommy Cottreau, Stephen Cottreau (predeceased), Robert Prince (Lana Taylor), Marc White and Sarah Prince. She will be lovingly remembered by her great-granddaughters Hayley, Emily, Laura, Anna and Katie. Her memory will be cherished by her half-brothers and sisters, Georges Benoit, Leo Benoit, Rose Benoit, Irene Benoit, Jeanne Benoit, and Blanche Benoit. Born in Les Iles De La Madeleine, Quebec, daughter of Edward Benoit and Jenny Reid. She lived her early years in Westville, N.S. and moved to Quebec where she met and married Fern. She lived her adult life in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and finally lived her senior years in Charlottetown withTom and Helen. Known to many simply as Grandma, she was regarded as a true lady by all who knew her. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Monday at 9:45 a.m., then to St. Pius X for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. www.belvederefh.com
