The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, on Saturday, April 19, 2008, of Avila Rogers of Charlottetown, age 101 years. Wife of the late, Thomas B. Rogers. Mother of Janet Rogers. Predeceased by daughters, Barbara MacPherson, Daryl MacLean, and stepson, John Rogers. Grandmother of Brian (Cynthia) MacPherson, Debbie (Terry) Gee, Gail (Wade) Belmore, Susan MacPherson,Mike MacGuigan, Kathy (Mike) Kennedy,Tommy MacGuigan, Danny (Jennifer) MacGuigan and Carolyn (Kevin) Elliot. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel, from where the service will be held on Tuesday, at 10 a.m. Interment later in The People’s Cemetery.
