Francis "Frank" Floyd

FLOYD, FRANCIS “FRANK” CHARLES - Frank Floyd of St. Martins, husband of 62 years to Irma (Henderson) Floyd, passed away October 26, 2012 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born May 1, 1932 at Salmon River, NB, son of the late Robert and Annie (Hyder) Floyd. He worked at the Winter Port and retired from Irving Paper Ltd. in March, 1991. Frank was a baseball coach and loved to hunt, fish salmon, and play the fiddle. He is survived by his wife, Irma; five sons, Francis (Sharon) of St. Martins, Charles (Marcia) of Rothesay, Steve (Larry) of Portland, Maine, Daniel (Kim) of Grand Praire, AB, Scottie (Andrea) of St. Martins; one daughter, Diane Floyd (Don) of Edmonton Alberta; one step-sister, Thelma Rankin of Saint John; 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was predeceased by sisters, June Lewis, Bertha Boyne; brother, Havelock; and step-mother Louisa Floyd. He was the last surviving member of his family.
Resting at St. Martins Baptist Church on Sunday, October 28th from 7 to 9:00 pm and Monday, October 29th from 2 to 4:00 pm and 7 to 9:00 pm. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 30th, at St. Martins Baptist Church. Interment in Mosher Hill Cemetery. Memorials to St. Martins Baptist Church would be appreciated.
