Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Friday, October 26, 2012, Aletha Grace Cross age 83 years of Badger’s Quay. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Agnes Spurrell; husband William Cross; brother Lester Spurrell and nephew Bob Spurrell; sisters-in-law Blanche(Obediah Spurrell), Katherine(Kenneth Spurrell) and Mary(Eldon Stratton); brother-in-law Bruce Cross (Rhoda). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her brother-in-law George Cross (Joan) of Badger’s Quay; sister-in-law Margaret (Claude Carter) of Badger’s Quay; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and very special friend Ida Winter of Badger’s Quay. Funeral service took place on Monday, October 29, 2012 at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Badger’s Quay with Rev. David Coffin officiating. Interment followed at St. Alban’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Badger’s Quay. Donations in her memory may be made to The Gander Cancer Clinic or to The Daffodil Place, St. John’s.
