PARKER, GEORGE - George Joseph Parker, husband of the late Valerie (Guntrip) Parker, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his home. Born 1946 in Saint John he was the son of the late Perley and Mary (Creamer) Parker. In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by his brother-in-law Ron McClary. He is survived by his son David Parker (Kelly), daughters Yvonne Norris (Patrick) and Cheryl Parker (Brian); grandchildren Brandon, Kyle, Danika, Payton, Makenna, Breanna and Erika; sister Bette McClary; brothers Robert Parker (Edith), Donald Parker (Helen), Brian Parker (Peter) and Tony Parker (Valerie); sister-in-law Chris Troubridge; his canine companion “Buddy”; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, October 31 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
