The family wish to announce the passing of Elizabeth O’Keefe Nealis, Glace Bay, on Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helena (Bates) O’Keefe.
She is survived by Marie McGean and Leona O’Keefe, both of Waltham, Mass.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frederick; baby son, Frederick; brothers, Joseph, Anthony, David, Arthur, John; sisters, Mary, Rose and Victoria.
At Elizabeth’s request there will be no visitation. A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church. The Rev. Norman MacPhee will be officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Anthony’s Cemetery Fund.
